Writing Prompt – Description – The “House” or “Sherlock” Factor

Attention to detail is a very important characteristic for writers to possess. A common mistake that writers make when writing description is to write like a police report (giving basic details that don’t give insight to a person’s true nature), such as weight, height, eye color, etc.
